Marco Metodológico. El material como centro del pensamiento

In the field of bio-based material design, two methodologies stand out for their approach and application: Material Driven Design (MDD) and Material Tinkering (MT). Both methodologies offer frameworks for the experimentation and development of new materials of biological and sustainable origin. Below, we will attempt to outline their main characteristics, in order to analyse their contributions to the different creative processes, their objectives, the dynamics of interaction between humans and material, the purpose of the research and the differences between the two methodologies.
