“Futuros Biobasados” chapter in Posthumanismos Interdisciplinares (Universidad de Vigo)

EcoBD Lab shares a new publication by Esther Pizarro, Miguel Trigo Morán and Isabel Marcos, a result of the EcoMat project, included in the book Posthumanismos Interdisciplinares en el Arte y la Ciencia, edited by Antía Iglesias Fernández and Ana Soler (Universidad de Vigo).

The chapter explores the potential of emerging bio-based materials as drivers of sustainable innovation and presents the EcoMat methodology, which integrates artistic research, material experimentation and regenerative design. Among the main outcomes is the creation of a modular materials library with 100 biomaterial samples, conceived as a tool for research, teaching and transdisciplinary experimentation.
