Cocoa Skin Dress at the 38th CRUE Sostenibilidad Symposium
EcoBD Lab presented Cocoa Skin Dress at the 38th CRUE Sostenibilidad Symposium, a transdisciplinary research project coordinated by Esther Pizarro, Miguel Trigo Morán and Silvia Gómez Cisneros, together with students Lidija Kostecki, Clara Villanueva and Julia Kapturzak.
The project explores the transformation of cocoa waste into innovative biomaterials for sustainable fashion, thanks to the collaboration of Kaicao Fábrica de Chocolate, which supplied the cocoa husks used in the research. EcoMat, the group’s bio-based materials library, was also presented.
An experience that reinforces the commitment of EcoBD Lab, Creative Campus and the Universidad Europea to research, sustainability, material innovation and knowledge transfer.
