REPAIR THE WORLD | 23 April | CSFW Madrid 2026

News

Esther Pizarro, co-director of EcoBD Lab, took part on 23 April in CSFW Madrid 2026, within the "Repair the World" session: a space for reflection and action inviting us to rethink the role of fashion as an agent of social, environmental and cultural transformation.

Several round tables were held throughout the morning. Esther took part in "Repairing to regenerate: the new language of textile materials and their role in the circular economy", alongside Ana Belén Noriega Bravo and Guillermo Orduña, moderated by Pepa González Alonso, exploring how repairing can be the first step towards regenerating.

The event, driven by The Circular Project with the support of SIC MODAES, served as a reminder that repairing is not about going backwards, but about moving forward with awareness — and that only together can we rebuild a future worth living.
